This past weekend we were privileged to share a stand at the PE Bridal Fair with Mentors Country Estate and La Romantique wedding decor.
It was a pleasure to spend some time with our fellow industry professionals and of course the future Brides!!
A Big thank-you to everyone who visited our stand and took the time to discuss their individual Wedding requirements with us.
We sincerely hope to be of service in the future.
Publicity Photo Shoot - Anchien Troskie
Earlier in the year, we were privileged to be asked by NB Publishers to do a ‘Publicity’ Portrait shoot of Anchien Troskie for her new book - “Die Staat teen Anna Bruwer”.
This book, a follow-up on her highly successful “Dis ek, Anna”, which received many awards and sold more than 70’000 copies, was released on 16 April 2012.

Images from the shoot was used in the book, as well as in numerous magazines and internet articles about the author and book.
More info on the publication can be found by visiting NB Publishers website.
It was an absolute privilege and pleasure for us to be involved in this project!!
“ Jinne eks super excited! Kan nie wag nie! Wat n experience saam met julle twee! Julle is amazing! Kon nie vir beter gevra het nie! Julle is die beste!”
Johann & Fiona got married at the exotic Botlierskop Private Game Reserve, just outside MosselBay on Saturday 24 March 2012.
The morning started with some serious thunderstorms and had us all wondering what was going to happen, as they planned an outside ceremony! Luckily for all of us, about 45 minutes before the ceremony the weather cleared to the extend that the Botlierskop staff could move the chairs and flowers outside. From then onwards it was one special day, which we once again were very privileged to be part of!
“ The pictures are fantastic and absolutely stunning !!! Well done for a magnificent job - the family is absolutely delighted!”
Last night Eidie arranged with one of her best friends to join them for an early morning ‘dune-boarding’ experience. Off course this was the excuse I needed to take some stunning sunrise images and get everyone out of bed at 5:00am!!
Enjoy!!
RRAD Boudoir - ‘behind the scenes’ long version.
We recently posted a short version of the RRAD Boudoir ‘behind the scenes’ video. This is the full length, which will also be broadcast on FTV. Enjoy!!
I must admit, we stay in Jeffreys Bay and it’s been a while since I have really ‘photographed’ anything close to the Ocean. During the past 10 days I have had this urge to go photograph these old concrete pillars in Paradise Beach, so when Eidie suggested we meet some Friends on the beach for a picnic, I quickly agreed, on the proviso that I can choose the beach & bring my camera along!!
This image is exactly what I had in mind, what a way to spend a Saturday evening!!
Exposure settings; Canon 5D MkII, 24-105 f4.0L, @ f11, ISO200 & 482seconds. LedLenser P7 flashlight was used to add some highlights.
RRAD [academy] Photography will be presenting a Creative Lighting Workshop this weekend in Jeffreys Bay.
If you are interested in advancing your Photography to the next level, this is the Workshop for you. The Workshop incorporates our ‘Off-Camera’ Flash course and will teach you everything you need to know about ‘Off-camera’ Flash.
We will have a model present giving you the opportunity to boost your Portfolio with some stunning images.
If you are interested in seriously improving your Photography, please email Rieghard [rieghard@me.com] ASAP to secure your spot.

RRAD Photography Full Member of ABIA!!
RRAD Photography is proud to announce that were are now fully accredited members of ABIA.
” The Africa Bridal Industry Academy was founded in 2008 to help Brides select only “ABIA Accredited Wedding Suppliers in South Africa” and to promote local Wedding Suppliers.
By encouraging Brides to vote on the overall service of Wedding Suppliers, we encourage Suppliers to continually improve their level of service and for this service to recognised by Brides who are planning their wedding. “ clip from the ABIA website.

I know some Brides will ask how this will benefit them? Well the answer is simple, it provides prospective Brides with the peace of mind, that we are serious enough about our business that we invite previous Brides and Customers to rate us on the independent ABIA system, without any interference from us. These ratings are openly available on the ABIA site, for everyone to see.
The Wedding Market is very competitive at this moment and the Photography sector is especially challenging for Brides, as it is sometimes difficult to distinguish between experienced Wedding Photographers and in-experienced ones. The ABIA system assists with this, as a Bride can clearly see who received what ratings from Brides during the past 12-months. We are told that the ‘live-rating’ system will be available from middle to end March, allowing Brides to see the current ‘live’ rating of all Suppliers, new and old.
Watch out for RRAD on the top of the list!!!
